The Relational Schools Project is pleased to announce that educational researcher/academic Heather Marshall has joined the Relational Schools team as a Research Analyst.
Heather is currently studying for an educational doctorate at Liverpool Hope University with a focus on the effectiveness and suitability of innovative approaches to tackling extremist agendas. Previously, Heather worked as an RE teacher in Liverpool for 10 years where she was awarded the Hockerill prize for ‘Innovation in RE Teaching’.
She completed an MA in education from Warwick University and was a Farmington Research Fellow at Oxford University, which culminated in the publishing of a report on the government’s “prevent” agenda, education and the countering of extremism. Her research interests include developing resilience and taking a holistic approach to education.
